Long lost Olds pictures

I think southbound on Logan back in the day? What confused heck out of me was that currently that it's now Martin Luther king blvd southbound is it's own four lane just west of the northbound which is about in the right spot for that photo and also would put the smoke stacks on the left hand side?
I am still questioning this! But two other gents that are roughly 10-15 older than I, are confirming this spot?

Have your Dad take a peak at this photo, the guys here mentioned that Logan was different from what it is now, from what they remember that the change was made around 81-85 which would explain that Buick Regal with the 81 on up body style sitting just to the left!
Pic posted as looking toward East Lansing, reference smoke stack to the right!

OK I got turned around as that pic is after my time, as I left in spring of 73'. Would be south then.
BTW: As to the above pic. engineering had a separate shop that was totally in to nothing but polish, paint, and prep engines, frames, trans, rear ends, etc. for car shows. Even certain dealerships that had a lot of pull with the Sales dept. had items done for their showrooms.

I was going a search for Hollingshead Olds, and came across this http://www.linkedin.com/in/jimetayem . Mitsubishi guy, but scroll all the way down, he started with Hollingshead. What's even stranger is, he is my ex-brother in law. Got me complete engine kit for a dodge/mitsu 2.6 engine for free.

Double history here, I remember riding on the dunes as young child on the sleeping bear dune buggy, too young to remember which Olds we had at that point in time. My guess would have been the 73 Delta 88 royale sedan.
Sadly you can not ride on the dunes anymore and cannot buy a new Olds anymore!
FYI voted by the GMA viewers as one top 10 most beautiful places in the US.

Thanks for posting all these pictures, in St. Lucie County we had Perry Oldsmobile, which is now just a vacant small lot, Tague, and then Ken Perona. They finished up with Wallace, which owns several dealers now, different makes. Vero Beach was Vatland, and maybe something else preceding it. I don't know what Stuart FL had, but it was Wallace when I bought my '85 Toronado there in '01.

TK-65:
I cannot count how many times that Toro pushed me from being stuck in the snow in the rear parking lot of Bldg. 70! They had two of those, plus several small tractor like snow plows that would keep the sidewalks clean of snow.

Let me just say, thank you to all of you who are adding to this thread. It is definitely one of my favorites! 1970cs, I checked out the GMA video, and maybe the best kept secret in MI is now out! It looks like the type of place I would have loved visiting as a kid, as well as now! Who would've thunk it.....in Michigan ?! And I thought growing up on Lake Ontario was awesome.....
