List of cars after signature

I am curious to know why do some posts or replies have lists of cars named after their signature? Is this the cars you have now? Or your favorites over time? I am just wondering if i should list all 36 cars I had or just the ones I would like to have again.

Thanks for your help!

I don't think there is an "official Rule" Some of us just like show others what we have and are interested in.

I elected not to put the 68 Opal Rallye I used to own.

Okay, that helps and answers my question. I've had total of 3 Cutlass' including one I have now, wasn't too sure what to list. Thanks for your help.

In my case, it's cars I own right now (and that's not the complete list, only those that are on topic ).

Mine are the cars I have now. I love Oldsmobiles, but I have a passion for all antique and classic cars.

There's no REQUIREMENT that you list anything. And if you do, there are no rules as to what you can list. Just remember, though, that this list appears after EVERY post you make everywhere on the site.

For example, the first 50 times I read Joe Padavano's list of cars, I thought it was cool. But the last 500 times I read it? Not so much.

I too have that passion for cars. In fact I wish life was currently in the 60's or 70's right now, I know my mind is! I will post my previous and/or current Oldsmobiles only. If I list all cars I've ever had I may need more space under my signature.

Moses,

The sig line isn't like the 10 Commandments and "Cast in Stone" You can change it in the user cp. Just be sure it's tasteful and not rude. Add a car [like Joe did with his cool wagon] or delete a car if you want.

How 'bout a pic of you parting the Sea?

Yea I figured I didn't need to fill out a court requisition LOL to submit different cars.

I'd like to "Part the Snow" if you and the rest of us Northeners know what i mean. I remember the snow of '67 & '79. This one is close!

Any limitation on the scale of the cars listed? I've got a really cool 66 GTO ... even signed by John Force....and, oh yeah, it's 1:18 scale.

Yea, I meant "Grand" scale but thanks for your consideration in asking... LOL!

I have quite a few promos, Matchboxes, Hot wheels. AFX, Johnny Lightning, etc. too. I think if everyone names all the cars, no matter what size they have this website will get more MAMMOTH than it currently is!

yeah, i tend to use the relevant cars in my sig but I like seeing what other cars people own as well, that is why I list the Maruarder, never know who else is into Oldsmobiles and Marauders. Though I have two other cars that I don't list

Yep - cool concept, huh...
I can get in any of them and go anywhere anytime.
Of course this will change in March when the '72 gets a suspension job, but hopefully that won't take too long though.
I just do not have the space for anything to remain in kit-form for long.........

I don't list mine, but here are the ones I presently have in my possession. Three of the four are fully operational. The '69 is still a project.

Mine are the Oldsmobiles I currently own. I had three others that are not listed here:

1977 Toronado
1977 442
1966 Cutlass

My sig has only the Olds I currently own. I do own a couple of other, non-Olds, classics ('55 Cad Coupe de Ville and '92 Cadillac Allante).

If I listed every Olds I had ever owned, the list would be quite lengthy!

Mine lists my current Olds Cutlass and the daily drivers the wife and I use. I think its cool to see what other people have in their stable.

I think it is, too, the first 50 times you read it. It's the next 50 and the 50 after that and the 50 after that that gets old. If you want to see what cars people own, click on their username and read it in their profile.

Signature lines should contain Oldsmobiles since this is an Olds board.

Should not contain cars you used to own......you sold it... get over it!

Should not contain a POS sitting in the back 40 that you are never gonna get around to fixing.

Why would you want to waste my time reading that junk?

I presently own both the Olds listed in my sig.

There is a link to my cardomain page that shows off the non-project car.

I have had 3 other Olds that are not listed.

When I first signed on I had all my daily drivers and other pleasure cars listed...just Olds now.

I have recently added a quote to my sig line that I thought was great
