The air cleaner is probably clocked wrong because it will not sit correctly because of the improper canister fuel filter causing poorly routed heater core hoses and the air conditioning lines may be in the way also.
I also wonder if the engine is a 1970.The air conditioning compressor muffler seen there is usually found on 71-72 cars in my observations.
At least he does mention it's a recreation.
