How to make multiple quotes when you post a reply
I have noticed some people wanting to know how to do this. To hopefully get more attention I am starting this thread with it's own title.
I think we all know how to use the brackets for a single post. For multiple quotes the only way most know how to do it is to compose your message before hand in a word program like Microsoft Word and then cut and paste it in your reply and add all the quote commands manually. Lots of work and time. cut/paste, cut/paste, cut/paste. I don't even know of a better way. If someone does please learn us.

Click the "+ button on each post that you want to quote (they will turn orange), then hit the big post reply button on the lower left.
All the quotes you selected will be there, just add your text.
You still need to copy and past if you want to multiple-quote from the same post.
Trial and error - it works for me...

Try this process for creating a reply with multiple posts:
1. Click the Post Reply button on far bottom left, of the last post.
2. Click on the Multiple Quote button, (2nd button from far right button) on all independant posts above that you want to quote.
3. Click on Post Quick Reply (below the drop down box - bottom middle of screen, where you type your message).
4. If you want to comment on each post, simply edit your post. (There may be another way for this last step, but this seems easiest).
Good luck.

partial quote
If you don't want to include all the previous quote, just put the cursor in the previous quote and delete what you don't want. Usually I put ... to show that there was something in front and behind what I delete, but that's a personal choice.

It's easy Sandy
just click the multi-quote tab on the right on two or three different windows then post your reply and they should all show up. I have been clicking on multiple ones and the last one I click on I right click the multi-quote tab and post an answer.

How about a quote within a quote within a quote?
Now quote this.
Now quote this.

I accidentally learned it trying to figure out how to multi quote.
You just cut and paste the quotes into the other quote, that's after you multi-quote and then open the response window.
I've even seen where there are quotes from other sites within the quote boxes. I would guess you would open another window with that forum and cut and paste them over with the code tags on each end.
I use old house paint and a big nasty brush to paint engines by the way.
