hot rod power tour
#3
Even though I haven't subscribed to Hot Rod magazine for years I've thought it would be cool to go to Power Tour. I've mentioned it to my wife in the past but she doesn't care one way or the other. Oh well...
Have fun and be safe gents.

I'm in Champaign so I'll be at the show here, without car but I'll be there. Anyone need any advice on where not to stay or where to eat let me know. Last time they were doing burnouts downtown. Pretty surprised 5-0 let that go on.

The heat probably saw they were outnumbered and let it go. I can't think of a better way to make more burnouts happen than pulling someone over for it when there's 2000 more cars behind them, and you have like ten cops in the area.
My old man will be in town, but the timing doesn't work for us. Maybe next year it will go the way I want it to, Indiana-ish to Central FL.

I think the tour is ending in Bowling Green, Ky. For those traveling on the tour be aware that the hot rod reunion is going on that weekend in B.G. as well. Hotel rooms may be hard to come by. The hot rod reunion is always a big show.
