and glancing at some auction results, it feels like 69-72 442's are continuing to rise in price. This continues to occur while some believe the market values should or will decline soon. I tend to think that the glory yrs (69-72) for 442's will continue to trend upward on avg from yr to yr. Old and young alike seem to recognize their great lines and unique engine designs vs the other run of the mill power plants of the day. Time will tell I suppose.

Values will drop during the next recession, the question is will they bounce back on 60-70's cars such as these.
I do agree that the present day values are doing OK, stable or possibly trending up on the rare W30 types.
My plain Jane 442 is probably stuck in neutral but that's OK with me- I have it to enjoy.

Good point. I think most people combine the 68-69's together as many look at 70-72's as a bit more similar from a design perspective (but hey, all are A bodies). I assume 68's are doing well, I just do not see as many on the market for sale as I do 70-72's.

It's hard to say, the economy is an always factor. In my work when stocks are up, the phone rings a little more.
Always a good thing. Cars on the other hand, especially the classics are hard to judge. They really are.

If someone were to offer me 38 K for my vert, they would be probably be driving it off, and it's not perfect.
Just one man's thoughts. And I agree with Capstone on the 64's-67's, 68 and 9's along with 70-72's and
the last 73's to 77's, after that.....

Us 68ers just want to be part of the pack. But, if not, I still have a 69...! Randy C.
