Figure I would try here 1968 442 for sale $2600
1968 442 for sale $2600.00. Broadcast Sheet.
Check this ad on ebay. I am looking for $2600.00 for this car as the project is a bit more than what I want to do and I am not looking to get into a frame off on a 68. I really only do 66-67,69's and have my eye on one of them. If you are interested let me know, I am not interested in any trades and looking for cash only. Sorry but I would rather be upfront than worry about miscommunication later. Car has the original broadcast sheet with all the option codes and is a QR 400 car with Turbo 400. Unsure on numbers matching for tranny but motor is a 71 455 G heads and rear is a chevy 12 bolt unsure if its a posi or the gears inside. Has a console and most of the interior and is originally a white car with Willow Gold interior. Check out my ebay ad and let me know if you have any questions. PM me through Classicolds or Ebay. Good Luck.

Thats the way I got it. Evidently the last owner was worried of theft considering where he lived in CT and removed them several years ago. All items match the build sheet, trust me I was worried about that too but close inspection and a second opinion via a very knowledgable member on this site revealed it to be correct for that car.

I'm not trying to cast aspersions, just asking the question that will enter most people's minds.
I can't see how removing the tags would help reduce the chance of theft, but, as we all know, in most cases, another term for "prior owner" is "idiot."
Regardless, a potential buyer could look at the confidential VINs on the frame to assure himself that all is well.
Good luck with the sale! Looks like a good project for the price range.
