Car Rental in Las Vegas

Hi, on 18. this month i will be flying to vegas with a friend for 1 week.
We want to rent a car for at least 1 day.

We both are interested in the new dodge challenger r/t or greater.
late 60er or early 70s muscle cars would also be okay.

im 23 he is 24, but he does not have driving license at the moment so i will be going to drive.
Were both from germany, i personally have a 71 cutlass so have experience and love us cars.

Are there any places we could rent such a car?
would my age be a problem?

I don't know of any place that rents those year cars, but most rental car places won't rent to anyone under 25, so check first.

yeah i already thought that it will be hard to get a 70s muscle.
Just looked for a 2018 dodge challenger, it seems to be hard to find that car too. That i did not expect.

i rented a Cobra replica out there..i suggest you try one of those...you couldnt wipe the grin off my face for 2 days...just make sure you get plenty of insurance and always valet it...

i understand the muscle car thing..i do..but, you will never regret renting the Cobra...i promise..plus..when will you ever get another chance to drive pinnacle racer from the 60s...replica or not

Viper would be my second choice...just sayin'...ive driven a few..worth it totally

theres another company out there too, they had muscle cars all over the place, and a few other choices in Cobras...i drove a white one with blue stripes..

its not only my choice as each of us will pay half of the renting bill.
I guess he will want the new challenger as he thinks of buying one once he gets his license back, what should be end of the year.

My favourits are the end 60s / early 70s muscle/mopars but i must say out of all new cars i like the challenger best.
just from "design" point of view, cause i have never driven on so far.

There is a small lot right on the strip that rents exotics, when we were there a few years ago they had a 5th-gen Z28 for rent. You could also do the Richard Petty Muscle-Car Challenge, although you probably need to reserve a spot ~6 mos in advance. I did that a few years ago, drove a 392 Challenger (AT), a 5th gen ZL1 Camaro (AT) and the last gen GT500 (M6) around the Las Vegas Motor Speedway (2 laps in the Challenger, 1 lap in the other cars). You do a timed 0-60 run down the pit lane, then a high-g acceleration going backwards around turn 4, then hit peak speed on the back stretch. It was a lot of fun. Unless you plan on heading out to the desert, its a waste to rent a fast car around the strip.

Enterprise offers

American Muscle

Ford Mustang GT, Camaro SS, Dodge Challenger SRT or similar
but its always unavailable i tried different days and locations.
also it seems you can not select if you get a mustang, camaro or challenger and we want a challenger if we rent a new car.

Take out a line of credit before you go! Las Vegas is an expensive place to rent a car, taxes and fees galore.

Don't forget that on the north side of the city, next door to a race track are two or three auto wreckers. Take tools.
