Can anyone id this master cylinder

That is an Original DELCO Master Cylinder -- in all likelihood -- because of the bleeder screws -- though it is true that the aftermarket had them in that design for a little while....
It IS CLEAR that it is a 4 wheel DRUM BRAKE Master Cylinder, for sure, by the illustration ..... 1967 - 1972 circa.....
The casting number (on the bottom) will definitely tell us EXACTLY what it is -- and if you want that information, give me the casting number, and I WILL tell you what it is...............

That symbol before the # --- IS --- the DELCO MORAINE symbol (the two
arcs) -- so this --- IS --- an O.E.M. Master Cylinder....
I will investigate the 5460465 -- and tell you what it is....

Couldn't refind your thread......
That 5460 465 IS the DELCO # and design -- with the bleeder screws for
1967 - 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass / 442 and Chevelle / El Camino with
4 wheel drum brakes system.....
The fact that it is an Original G M with the bleeder screws should make it
more desireable to someone who is doing a "concourse" restoration on such
a vehicle.....
The fact that it is 4 wheel drum doesn't make it the BIG BUCKS Master Cylinder -- because of what it is -- and what it isn't.....
But it still is the Bigger Bucks Master Cylinder because of brand and design....
Hope this answers your questions --- I may have a kit to rebuild it.....
Any questions or comments -- Call me -- Craig -- 516 - 485 - 1935 ....
New York....
Sorry I didn't answer faster -- I couldn't refind your thread!!!!!!!!

All it takes is some good old catalogs....
I've been active in the antique parts world for over 45 years -- and, of course, have some beautiful old catalogs and interchanges....
Much of what Ihave --- you are NOT getting on the internet -- despite how much internet access you have -- and how much internet savvy you have.
Remember -- the computer is only as good as the guy who programmed it -- and if their information is WRONG -- you get fed WRONG info......
Fox example, do you know how many things rock auto has listed inaccurately??????? And some people follow it as if it was gospel......
I could tell youstories aboutwhat I've seen and heard at car shows -- in regard to the literally STUPID things that happened on the computer....

The "CT" stamp code is widely used by all GM divisions. It would be correct for 1971-72 also. Another code you will find for drum brake cars is "DP", although not as common. Don I can help you decode some other Master Cylinders. By the way, some of the inspectors guides depending on the printing date are incorrect with there information.
