Am I supposed to have one of these?
Greetings to all ye Oldsmobilers!
I just saw this thread https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...-350-a-139626/
And I've always wondered if there is supposed to be one on my '72 Supreme. The original tire pressure sticker is still on the inside of the glovebox door, so I just assumed that was the only one, but now I dunno... thoughts?
Thanks,
Dave

Your tire pressure sticker is supposed to be on the inside of the glove box door for All 1972 Cutlass models (f-85, Cutlass, Cutlass S, Cutlass Supreme, Vista Cruiser and Cutlass Cruiser). If yours is intact leave it alone. If it's ratty and you want to replace it, they're reproduced.

So does mine. I'm keeping mine original. And guess what? I found an OEM washer jug that has some of the patina you'd find on a part that's 47 years old. It also fits exactly; not like the repops that are slightly off on one of the ear mounts.

The reproductions that I looked at some years ago didn't look very much like the original. Even though the one in my car was in poor shape, I left it alone as it was so different than the repro. Hopefully these days there are some that are closer to the original appearance.

I don't recall who made the one I bought, but it wasn't even the correct size to fit into the recess in the glove box door where the original is. The font and spacings were different as well. That was back in the 90s and at this point I don't really care anymore as my car is not a show car; it's a daily driver, so no worries about factory stickers and such.
