69 holiday

ive been looking around alot and realized i dont have the same front clip as basically anyone else. this is what mine looks like

while basically every other car ive seen has the split grill in the front and not the single. was this a factory option or a different package. i cant find many pictures on google of it. i have a holiday coupe S. dont know if that makes a difference just looking for some knowledge thanks

Blue car is a 68, so if you have a 69 with this front someone replaced your 69 frontend with a 68 frontend. 68 and 69 frontends with switch out with each other.

It's funny how pictures stick in your head. That picture was taken at the Endicott estate car show in Dedham MA in 2006. The Saffron 69 convertible was beautiful. The 68 post, not so much. I took my three year old daughter in her stroller and my wife gave me crap because it was such a hot day. I might be off a year but probably not. I specifically remember those two cars next to each other.


edit. It was 2005. My daughter must have just turned 2. No wonder my wife gave me a hard time. I've got detailed pics of the 69's motor
