Cool! That's my car!
I like this comment from the article:
“The top goes down in May and goes back up in October, maybe September,”
I do exactly the same thing, but around here the top goes down in late January and goes back up in early December!
One minor quibble with this comment:
"The standard engine for the 88s was the 330-cid V-8 that produced 250 hp. For buyers who wanted a little more oomph, the 425-cid two-barrel V-8 rated at 300 hp was also available and went into Breutzmann’s 4,100-plus-lb. convertible."
By using the generic "88s," he's technically correct, but the comment can still be misinterpreted. The 330 was the base engine in the '67 Delmont 88 with the 425 as an option, and Delmonts so-equipped had a "425" badge on each front fender. The 425 2-bbl was the base engine in the Delta 88, and no badging was used as ALL Delta 88s were factory-equipped with 425s.
