66 442 radiator

this converetible has always run hot. Looking for suggestions on a high quality replacement radiator that will mount with little or no modifications. Any suggestions?

There are many reasons why an engine may run hotter. What temps is your engine running at extended idle and cruise?

So true. can be timing, carburation, lack of correct skirting around the radiator, bad thermostat, bad fan, no shroud, clogged radiator or engine, it goes on and on. Cross flow radiators like they come with are good. going to an aluminum replacement helps. But, all of the rest needs to be correct also.

Hope this helps

These cars didn't overheat when they were new. Figure out what's changed now and fix that. Don't just swap parts and hope for the best. One thing to consider is that ethanol-laced gasoline causes the engine to run lean, which causes it to run hot.

How hot? Temperature? And how long is "always?" 20 years? If something like that, is there really a problem?
