1970 cutlass info wanted

1970 cutlass info wanted

hello all,im looking into a 70' cutlass 442 clone,comes with a 350ci,3 speed auto,posi diff, and was wondering if anyone could give general info,like the value and where it generally rusts etc im located in central alberta,canada and the cars from idaho originally.pics attached,many thanks!

The car looks pretty decent in the pics, but pics can hide quite a bit. Some of the usual places that are bad for rust are the bottom of the front fenders behind the wheel, 1/4 panels in front and behind the wheel, inner wheel wells where the well meets the trunk floor, top of the cowl, and around the front and rear windows. Of course the floors where your feet rest, but that is common on most old muscle cars. Good luck with the car if you decide to buy it.

Value, look up a 70 Cutlass S on ebay, then subtract 50% from the average price then add up all the add ons and add 50% of that amount to your total.

Its a nice looking car by the pictures you posted. How's the interior look? What kind of options does it have? Not trying to nit pick, but the sport mirrors are from a 1971-72. They still look good but are not correct for those who look for period correct items.

Another way I determine value on a car is look around to see what else I could buy for that amount of money.
