Another thread lead to this:
1967 Olds intermediates were assembled at the Fremont, CA assembly plant next to intermediates from Buick, Chevrolet, & Pontiac.
A little research shows 128,379 a-bodies for model year 1967 at Fremont:
Chevelle production = 48,799 (1xxxx7Z100001 to 1xxxx7Z148799)
Tempest production = 34,648 (2xxxx7Z100001 to 2xxxx7Z134648)
F85 production = 22,595 (3xxxx7Z100001 to 3xxxx7Z122595)
Special production = 22,337 (4xxxx7Z100001 to 4xxxx7Z122337)

I know all 3 Cutlass Supreme bodies (3807, 3817, 3867) were built there, but what else?

F85 numbers from Lansing (M = 174,249) VS. Fremont (Z = 22,595) VS. Framingham (G = 54,233)

Has anyone seen any 442 numbers from Lansing (M) VS. Fremont (Z) VS. Framingham (G)?

The body number on the tag represents the sequential body build for that specific body style (3817 Cutlass Supreme 2-door hardtop in this first set).
Cars were NOT built start to finish in VIN sequence order & I'll "ASSUME" the body itself didn't get completed in sequence - it's manufacturing, NOT a "perfect world".

The percentage posted is body number divided by the VIN sequence number (4321/9895=42.8% "33817" only *my car). Cutlass Supreme 2 door hardtops accounted for ~40% of Fremont Oldsmobile production.

The body number has some correlation to the VIN and with your help & additional information hopefully we can make sense of the remainder of a FREMONT body tag.
