1967 cutlass 330 4 speed
So I’m thinking about buying this 4 door running car with less 70k. Will the 4 speed in this car provide me everything I need to convert my 68’ convertible into a 4 speed? I know the frame is a little different. Thanks

Hi,
64-67 are close, 67 is a little different due to the collapseable column. I would think 68-72 would be the same.
Trans, bell clutch fork, maybe shifter should be able to use, pedals, and linkage you would have to get from a 68-72 would be my guess.
67 4 door 4 speed seems like a rare car

the big issue is the pilot bearing...Olds is weird that unless its a stick shift crank..it aint..and has to be drilled etc..that 330 crank should be forged and will work in a 350..pedals are different for sure...theres more issues..
67 has a diff bolt pattern on the flywheel..so it wont bolt to a 68 or newer motor...again..the 330 crank fixes it, but ya gotta swap the crank etc...theres a lot to consider...unfortunately Olds is the hard to convert from auto to manual..its not the end of the world..but takes some knowledge and be aware of the year diffs..
i wonder if it has a saginaw 4 speed, instead of a muncie....right there is a deal killer...

Anyone want to buy it? $3500 or I’m parting out. Runs good, little to no rust, small hole in lower fender, California car. Runs good have video of car driving and shifting through gears. There is no hood, that’s the way I’m getting it. Just went on a 73 mile trip with no problems.

Any chance you still have or know of the whereabouts of this car? Would be very interested. Same first car and color I owned.
