Can anyone identify this part? 1967 Cutlass Supreme

A mechanic left several part disassembled and Im trying to figure out what this is. The cowl, wipers + wiper motor were also in the same vicinity in the trunk; not sure if related:

Looks like an aftermarket windshield washer pump. Not sure if the auto trunk release back in the day were vacuum or not. Could be either.

X2 on the aftermarket windshield washer pump. Washers were not standard equipment in the 1960s. JC Whitney (among others) sold add-on washer systems.

Hmmmmm, all the 67's I've ever seen had the standard washer pump on the wiper motor. I did not now it was actually an option.
