Wiring guidance 69 442 convertible

My engine harness is in rough shape after it has had at least 2 engine swaps in its lifetime. I swapped in a 69 455 from an 88. Eventually I will put in msd style ignition, but it currently has a rochester 4bbl and points. Can someone help me decide which one is the right one. In the year one catalog it has transistor, with gauges, without..what gauges?

fusick only lists 1 so that makes me wonder if it matters?
I really could use an education on it. And if you really want to teach me, how do address all the wiring needed for my swap from manual to auto?

Do you own a paperback copy of the Oldsmobile
Chassis Service Manual (CSM) Chassis Service Manual (CSM)
for your 1969 442? A continuance of this discussion would be difficult without your having the ability to address the wiring schematic contained w/in the CSM (which contains a plethora of information).

From your other thread regarding the carb fast idle cam I reckon you own the CSM - that's good. Since, while I haven't the experience on changing out wiring from manual>auto, I was simply setting the stage for where most of the information would be derived.
