68 Cutlass Turn Signals

68 Cutlass Turn Signals
Hello...I have a 68 cutlass and both turn signals are not working, nor are the high beams. Wondering if anyone knows if these could be connected, maybe through a relay? Any wiring/electrical advice would be greatly appreciated.

There is no connection between the high beams and the turn signals. The high beam issue can be burnt out lamps, bad high beam switch on the floor, or loss of power between the switch and lamps.
Loss of turn signals can be as easy as replacing the signal stat under the dash near the steering column,

What does "both turn signals" mean? Both sides front and back are not working? Do the lights come on and just not flash, or do they not come on at all? Do the dash indicators light up? Do the brake lights work?
If the low beams work, the problem is downstream of the headlight switch. Have you verified that there is voltage at the bulb connectors? Do any of the four high beam elements come on?

So, funny thing. Everything is working today when I took her for a cruise. Had a issue of a hot wire grounding itself yesterday. Wondering if maybe there is a "cool down" time for circuits that have been overheated. But all seems good today.
And it was all 4 turn signal lights that did not work and high beams would not come on.
I hate electrical!!
Thanks for the help everyone.
