Windstar dual fans

Windstar dual fans
Does anyone know how to get the hi speed to work? When I plug it to power with oem ford windstar pigtails both fans come on. Unplug the small fan and the bigger fan with 3 prongs comes on only one speed. I even ran another power lead to the middle prong and no difference.

Not all the Ford fans are multi speed even though they seem to have the terminals for it. It has been some time since I researched this but it was what I learned. The Lincoln fans come 2 ways & the dual fan Windstar & T Bird fans are each single speed.

I moved your post to its own thread instead of you hijacking on one that has nothing to do with your issue.
As stated your fans may not be multi speed, the factory may have been using the second fan for on demand operation a single gets overwhelmed or the a/c is on.
