Positive battery cable

Hey guys is it possible to replace the positive battery cable without removing the heat shield and the exhaust crossover? I can feel the bolt holding it but can't really see it too well from the angle I'm at. I'm trying to be as lazy as possible. Don't want to fiddle with the exhaust bolts and break them.

This is a 1977 Cutlass with a 350

I'm sure anything is possible if you work at it hard enough. It's probably a lot easier if you drop the starter.

I used my 10 year old son. His hands were small enough to fit. Made it real easy and was a fun time for father and son .

I'll give it a shot with a deep 9/16" socket and some swivel joints. I feel like I have enough room.

Got it, had barely enough room to fit a socket and a swivel with extensions.
