Convertible with power windows
I'm trying to put a 70 442 convertible back together - I didn't take it apart so have no pics for reference. The assemble manual pretty clearly shows the lead from the power top switch going to the accessory block on the fire wall but I can't find any reference to where the lead from the power windows goes. I'm assuming it's the same place but nothing specifically shows that. The Fisher Body manual is very vague with their wiring and the Assemble Manual doesn't address it at all. All of the drawings I can find show only one lead to that point. I would really appreciate some guidance Thanks

The orange wire with the black stripe goes to the breaker on the firewall and there will be a pink wire that goes to the fuse block that activates the relay to make the windows work when the key is in the on position. Usually a car with power windows, top or other power hungry option might have a connector with 3 plug ins on it and a small lug to mount to the breaker on the firewall.
Hope this helps.

Fred,
Thanks. I will hook the wire up on the firewall and then crawl back under the instrument panel (what fun!) again tonight and try and sort it out under there. I appreciate the response
