Wiring harness ideas

hello all,

I have a 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass base model. I have a 403 and I want to rewire the whole car. I know that I need a reproduction wiring harness but I am not sure where to purchase one or which one to purchase. Please help!

Why do you need a reproduction harness? Something happen to the OEM one?

There are two really good vendors who manufacture exact wiring harness for classics. I have used both of these companies and both are top notch. American Auto Wire and M & H Electric. Both make these harnesses where they are plug and play. Here are their links.

I have a 1972 harness that was taken from a car with Rallye Pac gauges. It's complete and in really good condition. Just throwing this out there in case you want something that is OEM.

Painless wiring makes nice upgraded harnesses as well if you don't care about being factory correct.

If you want an update harness with all the factory connections, go with American AutoWire. If I'm not mistaken, they are the only one with a new style(mini) fuse box for the Cutlass that is not a universal kit. .

I rewired my car with a kit from them and had to call a few times for integration with my LS harness. I can attest their tech support is top notch, friendly and knowledgeable
