heater blower resistor

heater blower resistor
I'm troubleshooting a problem with my heater blower. Specifically, it's no longer blowing!
I've got the 12v+ to the switch, then a wire to the blower on a two-conductor plug on the blower switch. I also have a three-conductor plug on the switch.
Looking at the wiring diagram these three should go to a resistor.
Where would I find this, and what does it look like?
Does the switch need a ground, or anything else?
My car is a '69 442 Vert w/AC.
Thanks,
Rattlecan

There are three switches on the dash control to put power on the blower motor. The 'speed switch', the 'air on' switch and the 'max A/C' switch. When 12v leaves the speed switch it goes to the resistor, from there it goes to the high speed relay near the brake booster, then it goes back directly to the blower motor. I had trouble with the max switch not closing. Once I squeezed the switch to get the contacts to touch, it was good to go but it took a couple of weeks to figure out this problem. This on Muskrats '68 W/ A/C.
