Battery Cable Routing

Battery Cable Routing
While replacing the starter in my F-85 Rallye 350 (4 speed) I was questioning the routing of the Positive battery cable.
The service manual shows two different routes. It also shows a starter cable tube, which is not installed. I will be putting an ad in the parts wanted section for one once I confirm my questions. I have attached a image from the manual.
My first question is what does A.M.T and S.M.T stand for? I assume it is a Manual versus Standard Transmission, but want to make sure.
My second question is about the cable tube, is this the same tube regardless of location and just mounted differently?
Lastly, For S.M.T routing it looks like the positive cable should be routed down the valve cover, I am curious what the clamps look like on the valve cover and if anyone knows where I can get some.

I was pretty sure I knew what was meant, I had just never seen A.M.T and S.M.T used before, so I was curious to what it actually stood for, I think it means automated manual transmission and sequential manual transmission. Just a old new guy trying to learn, I can tell you a lot about a helicopter but very little about a car.

Automated Manual seems to be a contradiction of terms.
AutoMatic Trans is my best guess for AMT, I am sure it means the Jetaway/ TH350/TH400 and similar.
Somewhere I recall seeing in the factory lit., probably the part numbers book, that SMT is for Synchro Mesh Trans = the 3- and 4-speed manually shifted units.

That's exactly where it is.
