Temp or oil pressure

Hi, can someone please tell me if the green wire from the engine block is a temp or oil pressure sensor? Cutlass Supreme Brougham 1978.

Ground the wire with the ignition on and see which light on the dash lights up.

Not on a Chevy motor. Look again at the picture in the first post.

If you grounded the green wire it should light the temp light of peg a gauge, depending on which you have. If that happened, then you can just replace the sender.
