Radio fading in/out

Have a " WonderBar" radio in my '67 98. Radio turns on with good reception then fades in/out ( parked and in gear). What's the problem ?

Check the ground on your antenna and radio.

Could be a bad output transistor.

If you check it out out on the bench and it still does it, you can try spaying the transistors with Dust-Off or similar stuff, one at a time, to see if cooling one down makes it stop.
[sarcasm]Then it's just a simple task of finding a replacement [/sarcasm] and soldering it in.

Post a macro photo of the transistor and I will see if I can come up with anything in my vast array of parts sources.
