Power seat 70 W30

The power drivers seat on my car has power, but the seat will not move in any direction. I can hear the motor trying to move the seat but it seems jammed. Any ideas here on how to fix this?

Thanks

Lawrence

it sounds like the seat needs to come out ...
be nice to the plastic seat track curtains ...
hopefully the seat is forwardenuf to get the rear mounting hardware

Before you take the seat out, pull the small black plastic cover under the front edge of the seat and make certain that the "belt" isn't broken or stretched way out of shape. They look like the drive belt from a Hoover vacuum cleaner.
