Mr. Gasket micro electric fuel pump question.

Hello everyone.
Was wondering if any of you have mounted an electrical fuel pump for priming carb purpose only?
Car is 1970 Cutlass Convertible, where would I go about putting it on the car? Gast ank hose connection is on top of the tank.
These pump should be mounted below tank level but is pretty much impossible.
Pictures of your solution would be nice.

Thanks.

You would want the pump as low as possible, and close to the tank, so near the frame, out of the way of the suspension. This shouldn't be necessary unless the anti-backflow check valve in your stock pump is bad, or you have a small leak between the pump and the carb. I'd address that, and maybe replace the stock pump instead of adding a 2nd pump. If you're running the stock pump and pulling through the Mr. Gasket pump, it may cause a serious flow restriction.
