Cutlass Mystery Wire

1972 Cutlass Supreme Convertible. I have looked everywhere(almost) under the dash and don't see where this goes. Orange and Pink wire, flat plug. The only place I see orange and pink coming together on the wiring diagram is the downshift switch??? Anyone care to point out the obvious to me???

Thanks in advance.

Do you have a turbo 350 trans?
Isn't that on all of them and only used if you have the THM 400 downshift switch above the gas pedal?

Yep - that connector is only used with the 400 trannies. If you have a 350, it just hangs there.
