1967 cutlass wiring diagram
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 1967 cutlass? I have 3v on the dead side of my "INSTU B/U " fuse... with no fuse in it. Trying to find a short. I found the pic of the 1968 wiring diagram on here but I do not know if they're the same. Thanks in advance.

There's one in the 1967 Oldsmobile Chassis Service Manual.
Plus a whole lot of other information to help you fix your car.

Here you go. If you download the image, you should be able to zoom in on it. But as noted, if you're going to work on this car at all, get an original factory service manual. There is no substitute.

As both Charlie & Jaunty indicated (above) the only manual to own for your car is the original (used) OEM CSM. At some point years ago many of us owned a Chilton &/or Haynes manual (perhaps), which included other brands, but an original OEM CSM is the bible for your car. Good on you for ordering the correct manual.

I have found that, while the factory service manual is a must, having the Chilton, Hanes, etc. manuals on hand as well can be helpful because they sometimes have additional figures and diagrams that are not in the factory manual as well as charts of specifications in a more compact form.
In one case, back about 15 years ago, I wanted to rebuild the carburetor on my '67 Delta 88. I didn't find any youtube videos at the time (I'm not sure I even thought to look), but I found a Rochester carburetor manual by Hanes that gave step-by-step instructions on rebuilding this particular carburetor with lots of photos. It was ten times more helpful than the factory manual ever would have been.

The INST-B/U fuse feeds one side of the ALT lamp. The other side of the lamp is connected to the voltage regulator. You are reading a ground loop through the ALT bulb. This is normal. I'm not sure why you're trying to measure at that point anyway.

The fuse blew . And before it did. That little lightbulb for the proportioning valve/ parking brake would not shut off. Now the alt lamp is on dim. I have been out of town but I'm going to get back at it now that I have a schematic
