cobalt

so i have a question about some 1956 oldsmobile upper inside door trim...my car was missing some and in the trunk was some parts...but when i cleaned it all up nice and shiney silver..i found that it didnt fit there was nooo door **** pull hole...why? i did find a 4 door hardtop back one in gold that did...and i found a 1956 buick green ones for the front which i think they will fit...the only thing i see different is the little chrome strip at the top...soo why didnt the others have a **** hole? thanks..puzzled in utah
