Homemade bushings for the rear end.. i was to tired to search for new bushings on internet, but i found bushings for the micky mouse ears on ebay that was for a g and a-body or something, it was just a little shorter to the controllarm but it works.

maybe the color will be like this it end... the engine in this car is a orginal 307 with 5A heads,, but in the summer i will buy a new build 407ci olds engine rated to 381hp and good torque..so it will be a little better i think...but the 307ci is a great stabile engine for now.

I want to split the frame from chassie and restorate that part 100%, but i can`t right now cause i don`t have the place for it, but im trying to save a little of it hehe.. i think i know it`s about 4 type of this car in my country..maybe more but i dont know.... here is some pic from how the car look like before, then it was blue and have a tuned 350 sbc...

i remember when i was younger i see this car one time outside a bowling hall, im so sure it was the same car,, and now it is mine
anyway i have contact with the old owner,it was fun to talk about the car.

he he, my backdoor to left is very rusty too, i think it`s the worst part of the car, but i will give time to fix that in the end. a little job, but i think i can do that. i have begin a little on it outside, it`s some rust inside the door too, i can`t get a new door, it would be the easyest but im trying to fix it.

Im thinking about to do something with the interior, the orginal color is the greyblue.. its a little funny but not so fresh color,.. i have paint up the lists and plastic parts inside the car...but it was a little to light blue :S i just tought i should paint the dashboard too in the same color, maybe, and fix the roof, wood panels back in car and other details on doors with one of this type.... hmmmm not sure yet... im add a pic of the painting list and some other pics..

maybe you sit there and laughing now,

i dont wan`t to spray paint the orginal leather..but in worst case i could remove it again with paint remover or something maybe.. i have just wash the leather on the doors cause all was dirty...

2012-08-07_21-44-41_47drtrekkkk.jpg
2012-08-07_18-46-33_453.jpg

before...the plastic was so bad could use my nails and rip of the orignal plastic color..

2012-08-06_22-42-31_742.jpg

im thinking to use one of this somewhere in my car and roof...

or this..remind me more about the orginal color..hmmm

hmm

maybe this in roof

or

what do you think about my ideas? lol

Nice work, I can just imagine how hard it is to find parts for it where you are. I'm in the states and can't find the parts I need.

Thank`s , yes i think it is a little difficult to get parts, like chassie parts and stuff like that, i want to find a new frontwindow, but i dont know if it fits from other cars, like caprice or something or other oldsmobile`s.

I try to search on ebay after parts somethimes but it is not so easy always..but now i don`t need special parts anyway so it`s ok.

Today i have my car on the 2year controll check on carmechanic shop, that every car in this country have to be for a check.. and it was Ok, and now im waiting for my licens plates.. and then continue welding the rusty doors and more.

Pics from 05.04.2013

Mounting the boxes...lol i think i will paint the orginal grey blue in the car orginal darkblue metallic color or something...it look silly like it now, and paint the light blue details too.

Painting the plastic in front black, the orginal color was weak and bad chrome, and some pic of welding some small pieces on the driverside door.

With this speakers in this boxes it sounds nice and clean,i have just test them on the headunit, later i will use a 4ch amp to all this 4 speakers and tune them in.. in front i will use 2" speakers for tweeter in the orginal spearker holes in the dash. and maybe some 4" speakers in the plast boxes in front doors..i will see how much space i can use there.

in the trunk i will use my Fi q 18" inch subwoofer and build a stage with 2-3 amps.
one monoblock, one 4 ch and maybe a 2ch for front speakers. maybe some rust from the car will fall down then lol, hope the box will fit in the trunk :P
