Please help, 2nd request involving 1955, 56 Olds question

I know most of us are busy doing other things, but I would really, really appricate it if someone could check the length of the spacer between the bushings on the rear stabilizer bar of your 55, or 56 Olds. I'm kinda stuck putting things back together until I can confirm this dimension. Thanks in advance. Chuck

The ones on my 55 measure about 4.25 inches.

Need help

Thanks 88 fan, that is about the length of the ones I got from Fusick and I was worried that they were too short and going to put too much strain on the bar. I realize there must be tension on the bar for it to work, but I didn't think it was that much. Thanks again I am in your debt. Chuck

Update to 88 fan

After measuring the spacers from Fusick I find they are shorter by almost an inch than yours; 4 1/4 vs 3 3/8. I have decided to make my own using a different design since using threaded rod is not practical. Thanks again, Chuck

Is it possible Fusick sent you the ones for the front sway bar my mistake? I measured my front ones and they are about 3 1/8 inches.

Either way it shouldn't be too hard to get the rear ones sorted out. 9" x 5/16" bolt and a 4 1/4 inch spacer should get you back together.
