bosch or ACdelco oxygen sensors for a 84 delta 88 need help

about 2000-5000 miles ago i replaced my oxygen sensor with a cheap bosch universal type. and now its already dead. im wondering should i go and buy the oem bosch oxygen sensor or a oem ACdelco oxygen sensor. the acdelco is 30 dollars and the bosch is 20 im wondering is there a difference in quality and lifespan? im running a 307 oldsmobile v8 small block by the way. and i have a air/fuel mixture gauge and after the car drives for a couple of minutes the lights disappear on my gauge. could something else cause the oxygen sensor to die premature or is it just bosch sucks?

Check your EGR valve for proper function.

I installed a Bosch sensor a while back on my Toronado with the 307. It really improved the performance...so far so good. That was the only brand I could get locally so I figured I'd try.

From all of the issues I have personally heard of in the past regarding the Bosch, I would stick with AC Delco. Given how long they should last, 10 bucks more is not too much.
