Hi Guys, I'm looking for a coolant overflow bottle for my '73 Delta 88. Any ideas where I can find one? TIA

It's the same one as the A body overlfow reservoirs. They are available from numerous vendors. Only thing you'll have to do is modify the mounting bracket a bit to fit properly but that shouldn't be too hard. Check the vendors - prices range from 199.00 to almost 300.00 for the same product.

I wanted one of these in my '67 Delta, which didn't come with one originally, so generic aftermarket is the only choice. This one mounted easily and looks pretty good. The inlet connection is on the bottom and doesn't show in the photo.






It took me about 10 minutes to mount, and I think that anyone who doesn't know better would think it was factory.

I understand the desire for authenticity, but $18 versus $200 to $300? I'll think about that for a while.







If authenticity is important, you might consider a used one rather than buying a new aftermarket item. A fellow who frequents this site and who goes by the name of Bigdooly is parting out several mid-'70s full-size Oldsmobiles, and he might have something that would work for you. He might ask only $20 or $30 for it. I don't know, but it's worth contacting him. I have purchased a number of parts from him (he's in the Philadelphia area), and he is very responsive and quick to ship.

Dan, even the used OEM overflow containers command big $$. Some of them even more than a repop simply because it's OEM. I agree the cheepo ones will do the trick; it's what I used till I found my OEM one. BTW, I ended up paying about the same for it as the repro 8 years ago.
Anyway, I was just responding to the OPs question and was guessing she wanted an OEM style overflow container. I really doubt Bigdooly will sell an OEM radiator overflow for the price of an aftermarket cheepo though.
Your 67 Delta obviously never came with nor had an RPO for this. I agree that in its case generic aftermarket is the only real option.

Oh by the way they would be good condition used containers removed from 1974, and 1975 delta 88's.1971-76 should be identical
