77 D88 coupe driver's window switch
The driver's side power window switch in the 77 Pace Car is non-functional. I can still make the windows go up and down with a jumper wire in different positions on the harness.
I have determined that 77-79 Olds B&C coupe power window switches are made out of "Unobtanium".
I don't think they are the same as '76 and older. 80-up B&C switches changed location to the armrest - those are available everywhere.
I would love some assistance locating a replacement item.
Or...a rebuild kit? The switch is just totally worn out on the inside.
Thanks - BrianA in Housotn

Brian,
Check this out. I found new 2 button window switches that look really like the one you're showing. I DONT know if it will be the same for D88 as the A body but I suspect it is the same as the principle behind it's operation and wiring is the same. From what I can see in the catalogue, you can get just the guts of the switch which makes it less expensive. Have a look. There may be other vendors that have this. Best thing is call and quote the part number, ask for measurement. Hope this helps.
