swap '84 Cruise Control into '77 Delta 88

I want to swap the Cruise Control setup from my (now demised) 1984 Delta 88 into my 1977 Delta 88. What all parts and magic is it going to take?

I am pretty sure I stripped the '84 of every hard part before disposing it - including all the wiring harnesses.

I am more inclined to splice into the installed '77 wiring rather than attempt to swap the entirety of the later '84 (blade fuses) main harness into the '77 (when they were still using glass fuses).

Parts I know I have that are easy to use:

Cruise control servo and bracket (already on the 455)
engine room wiring for servo
later-year electronic stalk, with through-the-column ribbon cable

is the '84 speedo necessary, or can the earlier speedometer be adapted to the optical pick up arrangement?

Operating from memory here, I do have the '84 ETM as a guide but I thought I would start the thread here...

What all parts of the interior wiring harness would I need to take from the '84 harness?

I think you have most of it covered. I have not compared the 77 and 84 speedo heads side-by-side, but since you have to completely remove the 77 speedo to retrofit the optical pickup for the VSS, it's probably easier to just install the 84 speedo and be done with it. That's the hardest part of this swap. Mount the cruise module under the dash and wire up the actuator, add vacuum lines and brake switch, and that's about it. Depending on your carb throttle arm, you may need to modify the linkage from the actuator to the carb.

I forgot about the windshield wipers controls. '77-'79 were on the dash, '80-85 on the multi-function stalk required for electronic cruise control

Since I want the B-Body Ralleye Pak on the Pace Car (another time-warp item, as I do not believe they were available '77-79 - how could they, with half of the cruise control switches around the column) I believe I will have to change the wiper control setup as well.

I wonder what that will take.
