1963 Starfire 88 lower control arm bushings

Looking for NOS or TRW lower control arm bushings. We are having fitment issues with the bushing that we received from Fusick. Check out the pictures. We have a gap at the ends of the bushing when connected to the cross bar that bolts to the frame. You can see that the overall length is 3/8 to 1/4 to long which is causing slop. Has anyone else had this problem? will NOS parts correct this?

Thanks
Shawn

Charlie, I checked that part number and it came back as a rear control arm bushing. Where you able to use this part number in the front lower?
Thanks
Shawn

That's the number I got from NAPA online.
I threw the box away that my bushings came in.
Probably best for you to contact NAPA , tell them what you need and let them find the right number.

Is it possible to have early 1964 control arms on a late 1963 from the factory. Car was sold new in summer of 1963. 1963 lower front control bushings do not fit.

When you push the Bushings into the Control Arm they don't bottom out. There was a ridge on the ones I've done and the Ridge stops at the edge of the Control Arm. When you install everything and lower the car on the Ground, bounce the car once or twice and then and only then can you put the Washer on and Bolt and tighten the Bolt to the correct Torque value.

Part number 12235 looks more like what came out of our car. I may just order them just to see. Thanks for the help. My father in law has owned service stations since the mid 50s through early 1990s, he has owned the car since 1988 and serviced it since new. Car only has 45000 miles. Father in law says the Fusick bushings are not right and after playing with it I agree.
