Leaking gas tank at bottom 74 olds

Any suggestions on stuff to use to repair a leaking gas tank its not a whole more like a crack of some sort or maybe a pin whole? Besides buying a new tank for now I want to fix it.

I've had good results with the 2-part epoxy gas tank sealer "clay" available at most auto parts stores.

Like that, but there's one that's supposed to be just for gas tank leaks.

JB Weld might be fine.

Clean it well, and it will probably work best with the gas OUT of the tank (no pressure pushing against your repair). Also, taper the edges of the putty and smooth them into the surrounding surface.
