1966 delta 88 fuel tank sending unit

Looking for a fuel tank sending unit for my 1966 delta 88,having a hard time finding one.Any one know where I could find one or one that might be compatable?

the closest i got is an ad from ebay....

I haven't pulled it yet I'm still driving it and don't want to pull it until I find one to replace it.Thanks for the info I messaged the seller to see if it will work.I found a few online but they wanted close to 300$ for them hoping to find something at a reasonable price

Yeah it's bad usually stays on full ,occasionally goes down to 1/4 tank

You've checked all the wiring and grounds?


You can have these things rebuilt, but it would mean the car would be down while that job is being done. Maybe you could get a used one, send it in for rebuild and then change it out?

If your fuel gauge is sometimes registering, you might consider checking the connections. I'd also recommend dropping the tank and checking the one you have as another is hard to come by and very expensive. Who knows perhaps a cleaning might free it up if it sticks.

Does the car have AC as the sender is a little different. The AC ones have the return line.

I sent mine off and had it reconditioned by Tristarr. Pricey but it works perfect. Mine was shot I had no choice
