3.42 O gears I have 2 sets of brand new Olds 12 bolt gears!

I have 2 sets of BRAND NEW in the BOX Oldsmobile 12 BOLT 'O' type 8.5 diameter gears !!!

Anyone interested?

GM or aftermarket? Specifically, which carrier do they fit?

Are you saying 12 bolt cover and 10 bolt ring gear, or 12 bolt ring?

Type O is the ten bolt 8.5" ring gear. There is no such thing as an 8.5" ring gear with 12 bolts. The Chevy 12 bolt ring gears are 8.875".

12 BOLT OLDS 'o' tYPE

THIS IS A Oldsmobile site CORRECT?

Gear has been missing for about 3 years now.

12 bolt cover, 10 bolt ring, BOLT IN AXLES is a 12 bolt 'O' type OLDSMOBILE Differential.

12 bolt cover and 12 bolt ring and C-clip axles is always a Chevy rear Differential ...Even if it originally came in a Oldsmobile it is a CHEVY rear.

These gears are for the 12 bolt cover 10 bolt ring 8.5 diameter.
These Richmond gears fit the 3 series carrier (3.08 3.23 carrier)
This is the way Richmond made the 3.42 and 3.90 gears for the 12 'o' type rear.
