Value of #672 31 spline differential and 3.91 R&P ?

Apologies for the add on, but if anyone needs a housing and axle shafts to go with these let me know. I have a 68 HD 31 spline TL code 31 spline rear wasting away behind the garage that would make a great companion to the gears and posi carrier.

I have one 31 spline axle and the TO housing minus the brackets had been cut off for A body and had leaf perches added.

The posi unit and gears in good condition are worth maybe $400 - $700 depending on how nice they are.
A butchered housing is a liability and will cost $$$ to repair or replace missing parts , if it is salvageable at all. It will never be worth what a nice unmolested piece would be.

I do have a 68' heavy duty 12 bolts Olds posi that was rebuilt last summer sitting in my garage. It does have factory 3:91 gears in it w a brand new GM clutch pack, seals, bearings etc. It is the rare 31 spline rear end offered in 1968 and is the 672 carrier. i have two of them and would be willing to part with one. The housing is in nice shape and already painted a semi gloss black- ready to be installed. if interested please send me a PM to discuss.

Gears have some rust but no sign of wear issues, no sharp edge. Factory set. The one 31 spline axle looks fine. I believe the deal was someone busted the other axle when it was being used last in the leaf spring car it was modified for and it got pulled apart but unable to locate a stock axle to repair it.

Pics from today. And now that I see them blown up bigger on PC looks like I got a small corner chip on a pinion tooth. I may keep all this stuff. Will see.
