Do you know which standard rear axleratio for a 1971 Cutlass Base – 350 – TH350 was delivered from the factory?

could really be any thing...
likely with that stock combo a 2.73 or 2.56 will be most common.

My car came with 2.56.

The Salesman's SPECS booklet tells you EXACTLY what the standard axles were for each drivetrain combination, as well as the available options.

For the Cutlass line in 1971, the standard axle ratio with TH350 and 350 2bbl (RPO L65 motor) was 2.56:1. With the L74 350 4bbl motor it was 2.73:1. Note that in the Cutlass Supreme line, standard axle was 2.56:1 with either of those motors.

Yep, That is what is should be...But you know how the factory lines went... KEEP THE LINE MOVING. You never know unless you dig into the rear physically.
