POSI Rearend -Corvette or TransAm
I have a 10 bolt GM rear end I picked up from a buddy who was going to do a one tire fire to POSI traction swap but ended up 86ing the whole project.
The rear end is a 10 bolt GM late 80's to early 90's Corvette or Trans Am POSI.
I am needing to know if this would work in my 1971 Cutlass, 455, TH400 (longtail) transmission with the 455 drive shaft, would it blow up or not even be usable. If it is doable is this something I can swap the pumpkin out to existing axles?
I haven't seen any posts regarding this, maybe I'm not looking hard enough.
Thanks in advance,

I would not bother using the 10-bolt unless its a 8.5" version. Most 80's cars had the 7.5" 10-bolt, at least in the G-body & F-body cars. Too weak for a 455 if you get traction under your wheels.
