1972 A/C discharge hose

Hi all,

Just curious, is it safe to use the early-1972 design discharge hose on my Cutlass with the on-compressor type muffler? The muffler area has sprung a leak, I think the muffler itself has a crack.

The inline type mufflers seem to be more common in the resto catalogs, the leter on-compressor types I only see on ebay.

Don't care what it looks like, I just want it to be reliable, this is my DD.

I don't see why not. Systems are essentially identical. Should be fine.

That was a running change in 72 to relocate the muff - just different locations.
