1970 W31 questions

Special parts on the W31

Does the W31 have the same fan and/or clutch as the standard Cutlass?
I know the distributor has a different number. Is it an aluminum band around it and what is the number?

Not sure about the fan, but iIbelieve the clutch part of the fan on w30 and W31's are unique and have different codes than a standard Cutlass.

The disttributor i know for a fact is the same number as any 1970 Cutlass with a 4 barre, number 1111975. Except the joulian date code will be different, I think there is at least 4 date codes out there, maybe more.

This is a pic of my distributor, it has a date code of OD3, which is 3rd week of April 1970

Steve, you need to get on the Stick here! You know that the fan info is at Wild About Cars in the '70 Assembly manual, right?

Did all W-31's come with a fan clutch? What if it were ordered with 3:42 gears and had standard cooling?
