Tiberian Fiend

It doesn't have a bezel to screw out like everything else because it's at an angle, and I don't want to twist the wires up trying to turn it out. How is it fastened?

You push in from behind the dash and turn much like removing a light bulb from the taillight sockets. There is a spring there that holds it tight against the dash.

This is absolutely correct!. Mine was very stuck (50 year old car, go figure). However, a little WD40, some light tapping and it came right our after compressing and twisting like you would do for the bulb. This was all made easier because I have completely removed my dash so I could cleanup and repaint.
