Top Fender and Door Mouldings 69 Cutlass Convertible
I see some 69 Cutlass S convertibles with no chrome mouldings along the tops of the front and rear fenders and doors. Were these mouldings a factory option as well as the wheel mouldings?

The moldings were standard equipment on every 69 Cutlass S convertible and on every 69 442 convertible. If they were missing, they were removed when the car was repainted. Since repros are not available, if the trim was damaged in a collision, they likely just left them off and welded up the holes.
