Shined up the Salon for some photos (lots of pics).
We had the vinyl top replaced on our Cutlass over a month ago. Between 100+ degree days and my work schedule, I've just now got a chance to get it shined up and out for some pictures.
This is my wife's daily transportation and hauls around our little guy (1 year old).
We're trying to find the lower chrome trim (snakeblinders) which I think will really complete the car. I'd like a pinstripe too, but she says no.
Thanks for checking it out!

Always liked that color on those cars.
That's the 1st Salon I have ever seen without the snakeblinders.
Pretty sure it was standard equipment.
Did you choose to do the vinyl roof differently .....
Or did they do that on their own ?.

@ThePackRat - The top was a dealer install. A couple months ago the glue finally let go. So we had the top re-done. Since the car left the factory a hard top, it has all the needed hard top trim. And if the rest of the car wasn't in such good shape we probably would have just deleted the vinyl. But it was most cost effective to just put new vinyl on where the old stuff was. Plus as a Toronado guy, I like the classy-ness that goes with a top.
The car was repainted sometime before I bought it, so I assume the lower chrome was removed and never put back on.
@Napoleon Solo - I believe Allan used the correct term. Rocker chrome. "Snakeblinders" is just fun to say.
